Vanderbilt faculty gives talk on equity in evaluation for POTUS Executive Office

SRA President Velma McBride Murry, University Professor of education and human development and health policy at Vanderbilt University, was recently invited to present her research on equity in evaluation for the Office of Management and Budget at the White House. Her talk, “Centering Equity in and through Federal Evaluations: Reexamine, Re-envision, and Retool Practices, Policies & Programs,” is the first in a five-part series. The series seeks to highlight evidence-based practices that address Executive Order 13985 by President Joe Biden, which is designed to advance racial equity and support for underserved communities through the federal government.
