The SRA Biennial ConferenceThe SRA Biennial Conference has been the flagship event for the Society for Research on Adolescence since the 1980s. Originally a series of intimate convenings with adolescent scholars, the inaugural SRA Biennial was held in 1986 in Madison, Wisconsin with approximately 135 attendees. The SRA Biennial has remained a constant in the Society, growing to an average of over 1,200 attendees and being hosted in various cities! The SRA Biennial is where emerging knowledge on adolescence is shared, new collaborations and cross-sector partnerships are forged, and cutting-edge research is translated into impact and action. Bringing together research scientists, practitioners, educators, policymakers, and students from across the social, educational, and health sciences, the SRA Biennial creates a unique interdisciplinary community dedicated to improving the lives of adolescents. It is a place where adolescent researchers learn alongside teachers and social workers, where policymakers engage directly with researchers, and where undergraduate students, graduate trainees, and established scholars build new collaborations and design innovative research with and for youth around the world. The SRA Biennial has it all: groundbreaking research, professional development, meaningful networking, opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange, and celebration of exceptional scholarship and the people who advance it. We can’t wait to welcome you to the next SRA Biennial! 2028 Biennial Meeting |
