Review Process & Publication Timeline
Upon submission, a new manuscript is first viewed by the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Nancy Guerra. If she approves of the manuscript at this phase, she then assigns it to one of her Associate Editors who oversees the peer-review process. For every submission, including revisions, we strive for a review lag time of approximately 90 days.
Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, there is an online publication lag of 3 months, and a print publication lag of 6-8 months.
