The Study Group for Research on Adolescent Civic Development (CIV DEV) was formed out of a pressing need for: (a) focused study of developmental processes that undergird adolescents’ civic identity formation and participation, and (b) interdisciplinary field-building in adolescent civic development Our activities bring together international researchers, practitioners, teachers, and other scholars interested in the developmental processes and correlates of civic development in childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood.
