Schedule Preconferences and Special Events

 
If you would like to schedule a preconference or special event for the 2012 SRA Biennial Meeting in Vancouver, please pay close attention to the following: 

• SRA has reserved a block of meeting rooms at the Vancouver Convention Centre (East) which may be used for preconference/special events. Space is limited and will be assigned by SRA on a first come, first served basis.
• Groups who wish to schedule their events within the SRA block of meeting rooms must submit a request form (see instructions below). After the event is approved, SRA wil send an email confirmation detailing the space assigned and the catering contact should food and/or beverage be required.
• The room rental fee will be waived for all groups who schedule their events within the SRA block of meeting rooms.
• The A/V (screen/projector) rental fee will be waived for all groups who schedule their events within the SRA block of meeting rooms.
• SRA is not financially responsible for any expenses associated with any preconference/special event. All expenses--including, but not limited to catering--are the sole responsibility of the organizing group.
• Preconference and special events may not conflict with any SRA event and may be scheduled during the following dates/times ONLY.
  Wednesday (March 7): 8:00am - midnight
  Thursday (March 8): 7:30pm - midnight
  Friday (March 9): 8:00pm - midnight
  Saturday (March 10): 5:30pm - midnight
• Your event must be booked by February 17, 2012, to appear on our preconference/special events listing webpage.

To Schedule a Preconference/Special Event:

1. Complete the preconference/special event approval request form below.
2. If approved, SRA will send a confirmation email within 2 weeks of receiving the approval request form, detailing the space that has been assigned to your event.
