NATURAL (WEB) RESOURCES

As a student, you need information about many topics. There is a large amount of material available through the web.  In addition, there are many great websites that are devoted to organizing such materials.  The collection of links on this page has been developed exclusively for SRA student members as a benefit of your membership.  This page is under continuous construction and will continue to grow as long as you, the student members, continue to contribute information and feedback on appropriate links (click here to contribute a link).

The Chronicle of Higher Education (http://chronicle.com) is the number one news and job-information source for college and university faculty members, administrators, and students!!!!! This is a must have subscription ($75 a year buys you A LOT of information).

PsychWeb (http://www.psywww.com/index.html) This Web site contains lots of psychology-related information for students and teachers of psychology; one of the many fantastic features of this website is a page that contains to all journals that exist in our field.  Also—hundreds of relevant links.

APA Science Student Council (APASSC) (http://www.apa.org/science/apasscweb.html).    The APA Science Directorate created the APA Science Student Council (APASSC) in 1993 to serve in an advisory capacity to the Science Directorate. This website is a great source: especially the career development links (pre-docs, post-docs, and professional development resources) and the funding and grants links.

GradPSYCH (The magazine of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students) (http://www.gradpsych.apags.org) offers a wealth of information that is relevant to psychology graduate students and young professionals.  This new magazine (available to APA student members) serves as a valuable resource for individuals who want to learn more about tapping student funding, finding out about different educational and conference opportunities, improving their teaching skills, surviving on a student budget! and much more.
