A Note of Caution: As the date of an event draws closer, exhibitors and attendees are from time to time subjected to improper solicitation from unaffiliated hotels or third-party housing agencies. If you are contacted by anyone asking if you “need a room at the upcoming SRA Biennial Meeting” or representing themselves as the “SRA Housing Bureau,” please get as much information as you can – such as name of the company, the person calling, and their telephone number – and immediately email these details to biennialmeeting@s-r-a.org.
Poachers typically offer a lower rate than the official block rate. With that, room reservations may be offered at significantly lower quality. In other circumstances, cancellation polices are often harsh and unforgiving. DO NOT make any reservations through unknown companies. Most importantly, do not provide them your personal information, especially your credit card number. These rogue companies (commonly referred to as “pirates” or “bandits”) may charge your credit card for services not rendered. For these reasons, and to support our efforts to give you a quality event, we encourage you to book your housing accommodations using the link provided by SRA on this website.
